Privacy statement

Fietsverhuur Drenthe is an initiative of JB Cycling (Johan Buurmeijer). This statement explains which data we process when you book a bike through this website, and why.

Which data

When you book, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, the riders’ heights (to choose the right size), the rental period, the pick-up location and any comments.

What for

We only use this data to carry out your booking: getting the bikes ready, contacting you about pick-up and handling the payment. We never send newsletters without your consent.

Who we share data with

• Booqable: our booking system, where your booking is stored.
• Stripe: processes your payment (iDEAL) through Booqable’s payment page.
• Cloudflare: hosts this website and counts visitors without cookies and without tracking you.
• Google (Analytics and Ads): only if you agree in the cookie notice. We then measure how the website is used and which ads lead to a booking. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

Retention

We keep booking data as long as needed for the rental and for the statutory retention period for accounting records (7 years).

Your rights

You can view, correct or delete your data, unless we are legally required to keep it. Email info@jbcycling.nl. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
